Lions Christmas List

Lions Christmas wish lists

News

With Santa Claus set to make his annual sleigh-ride across the globe next week, it seemed an appropriate time to find out what some of the Lions players hope to find under their trees this Christmas.

Jonathan Brown is hoping for jocks and socks from his family as well as a DVD box set of the latest Prison Break series which he hasn’t had the time to watch on television. He would also like tickets to the USA’s 2008 Super Bowl in Arizona next March.

Pat Garner needs a new pair of board shorts to get him through the hot summer months.

Daniel Merrett is keeping his fingers crossed for a new frying pan and an overseas holiday.

Among other things, Jamie Charman wants a Borat-style mankini in Lions colours, a selection of JC 19 products from Number 19 Men’s Day Spa to keep him looking smooth over the Christmas festivities and a big kiss from Jennifer Hawkins.

Jed Adcock is hoping for a British Bulldog puppy to keep his staffy named ‘Misled’ company at home.

Troy Selwood wants some guitar lessons for Christmas so that he can learn to become as smooth as Joel Macdonald.

Western Australian ruckman Matthew Leuenberger is hoping to find a return flight from Brisbane to Perth underneath his tree on Christmas morning.

Co-captain Luke Power quite simply hopes for health and happiness over the Christmas break.

Justin Sherman’s Christmas wish list includes a new esky, an iPod Nano and tickets to see Matchbox Twenty in concert. He is also hoping that Santa brings him some homewares and appliances for his new house in Brisbane.

The Board, management, staff and players of the Brisbane Lions Football Club would like to thank all members and supporters for their continued support in 2007 and hope all their wishes come true this Christmas.
